ABOUT  TIVOLI

(tiv-o-lee sigh-less)

A long-standing desire to create and tell stories has led me to pursue a career in film and writing.  Raised as a cinephile, I grew up watching Charlie Chaplin, Buster Keaton, and the Marx Brothers, making fertile ground for my appreciation for film.   I’ve been imagining stories since I was a child, only later expanding and writing out these narratives.  So far, I have written fifteen feature scripts, four novels (with two more in progress), two pilots, and one play, as well as other projects in development.
My production experience ranges across film and TV.  In college, I was involved in film and TV production with Tangible Productions, ChomPics Productions, the Gator Wesley Foundation, and NBC affiliate, WFLA.  I also interned at PBS affiliate, WEDU, and pursued opportunities on local productions in my hometown of Tampa.
In 2016 I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Florida, with a major in English, a concentration in Film and Media Studies and a minor in History.  In 2020, I completed the Professional Program in Screenwriting at UCLA.  I have recently graduated from Chapman University with an MFA in Film Production, Directing Emphasis.  In addition, last summer I was employed as a tour associate at Warner Bros. Studio Tour Hollywood while also working as an intern at the Newport Beach Film Festival.  This spring I was a creative development intern at Walden Media.  I hope to become a professional writer and director of independent and studio films, as well as television shows, telling secular stories with mainly female protagonists and faith-based themes.
